Self-expression is a tool that shapes our daily lives and identity. Art is how I express myself - it started with sketching and I have since then moved onto painting. I reflect myself in vivid colours and layering of words and symbols. They reflect the various emotions and different phases of my life. My work takes you through these phases. I use film, photographs and childhood items. This way the viewer - through my work - may remember their own experiences. By traveling and networking, I learned that the key to being relatable is to be authentic. That being said, you cannot stay comfortable. I constantly push myself to experiment with different mediums and to collaborate with other artists from various backgrounds.
